Edge Connection Selects Wisor Telecom To Provide All-In-One Service Management Solution
Wisor Telecom's Robust Service Management Solution (SMS) Suite Offers an End-to-End OSS Solution That Fully Automates, Ordering, Provisioning, and Service Activation For Voice and Broadband Data Services.
Rockville MD, August 15, 2000 - Wisor Telecom Corporation (Wisor) a premier provider of intelligent Operations Support Systems (OSS), announced today that Edge Connections, an Atlanta, Georgia-based DSL- Competitive Service Provider (CSP), will utilize its Wisor Service Management Solution (SMS) Suite. Other products selected for Edge Connections' solution include Daleen's BillPlex and Clarify's eFrontOffice Products. Business Edge will perform the integration.

The Wisor SMS Suite supports the service management needs of today's next-generation service providers through a sophisticated set of software modules that deliver functionality for service order management and, provisioning, network inventory management and trading partner interconnection. The solution takes advantage of a workflow engine that automates the provisioning of service orders with complete order flow through. The Wisor SMS supports a full range of services provided over various network technologies, including voice, data, DSL, IP, ATM and Frame Relay. Wisor SMS also integrates the pre-ordering process, which supports telephone number assignment, customer service record (CSR) retrieval, address validation, due date inquiry and appointment scheduling.
