Thomas P. Staudt has been involved in the private equity sector serving in various senior executive operating capacities for nearly 20 years. Most recently, Staudt was President and Chief Executive Officer of Ruesch International, Inc. Ruesch International was a leading provider of cross-border and other payments services serving clients throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Australia.
Staudt has a strong record of sound and innovative leadership in successfully growing companies during his more than 25 years of executive experience in the banking, healthcare, technology, and insurance industries.
Since 1991, Staudt has been involved in various private equity based companies such as Harbridge Merchant Services, Card Establishment Services Corporation (“CES”), which were successfully sold to First Data Corporation. Following the sale of CES, Staudt formed MedE AMERICA Corporation (“MedE”), a leading healthcare EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) company. Staudt led the corporation through a successful Initial Public Offering and eventual sale to WebMD.
Staudt holds a Bachelor of Science in International Security Affairs from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and a Master of Business Administration from San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of America’s VetDogs (www.vetdogs.org) and was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999.
