WAYNE, Pa. — October 17, 2017 — Evolve IP, The Cloud Strategy Company™, today announced that it has acquired Clearlogin, an identity authentication technology provider based in Mountainside, New Jersey. The strategic purchase is part of the company’s ongoing development strategy and will provide Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) for solutions in the Evolve IP OneCloudTM platform, new international sales opportunities, as well as a significant presence in the rapidly expanding Identity and Access Management (IAM) market. According to Gartner, “by 2019 more than 80% of organizations will use access management software or services, up from 55% today. By 2021, ID as a Service (IDaaS) will be the majority access management delivery model for new purchases, up from less than 20% today.”*
Founded in 2014, Clearlogin’s identity authentication suite provides enterprises with a highly-secure and compliant way to provision and monitor associate identities across more than 4,000 of the most common applications in the market. The service is delivered via a simple to use web or mobile portal and includes robust reporting and analytics, multi-factor authentication, security policy access management, and cross-domain support for enterprises with multiple directory integration needs.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Clearlogin to the Evolve IP family and to integrate the solution within our Evolve IP OneCloud,” said Guy Fardone, President and Founding Partner of Evolve IP. “When we look back at 2017 it’s going to be clear that the year was pivotal for enterprise security and integrating Clearlogin into our best-of-breed solutions will be a great addition for our clients. This is a transformative acquisition in an international, high-growth market and one that will drive new opportunities in security, compliance and overall adoption of cloud services.”
“Over the past few years IT professionals have found themselves moving out of the data center management business and in to the cloud integration business. The proliferation of cloud services, each with their unique access requirements, has made that part of integration very difficult to manage,” says Scott Kinka, Chief Technology and Product Officer and Founding Partner of Evolve IP.” Clearlogin is an identity authentication service that makes IT more efficient by simplifying how IT provisions, manages, and monitors access management.”
“This is a very strategic acquisition for Evolve IP and unique in the cloud service provider space,” said Elka Popova, VP and Senior Fellow of Digital Transformation at Frost & Sullivan. “Identity and access management technologies are in a hyper-growth mode and Evolve IP has positioned itself squarely in a sector that will be a fundamental requirement for businesses. Clearlogin should serve to further enhance Evolve IP’s OneCloud platform as well as provide a new base of technology professionals to target for cloud solutions.”
“The Clearlogin team is very pleased to be joining Evolve IP and excited to have new opportunities to further develop the Clearlogin technology as well as increase market penetration,” said Ed Laczynski, Founder of Clearlogin. “Evolve IP has a great base of enterprise clients and users that will immediately benefit with improved security and greater efficiency in their IT. I’m also very excited that with Evolve IP Clearlogin can immediately leverage their international presence to expand the service across the globe.”
