This past week, we announced that we’re donating $250,000 in the form of five $50,000 donations to five organizations that combat the root causes of systemic inequality.
We highlighted 'A Second U Foundation' and 'Sister's Circle', two long-standing Bombas Giving Partners, and we’ll also be donating to the following three organizations to support their work of fighting racial injustice.
'Black Lives Matter'
- Works to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities
'National Bail Fund Network'
- Works with organizers, advocates and legal providers across the country that are using community bail funds as part of efforts to radically change local money bail systems and end pretrial incarceration
'Marsha P. Johnson Institute'
- Defends the human rights of Black transgender people by organizing, advocating, developing transformative leadership and promoting collective power
This doesn’t stop here. Internally, we’re ensuring that we continuously educate our team around the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion and making sure that our partners, platforms, and practices directly align with our core values and are in the support of our Black community.
