Mark is responsible for transaction origination, investment policy, fundraising, investor relations and the general management of Great Hill Partners. His investment experience covers a broad group of industries, including health care, financial technology, telecommunications, software and business services. Mark serves on the board of directors of PartsSource, Qualifacts, Quantum Health, RxBenefits and Vatica Health. He formerly served on the boards of Accelerated Payment Technologies, BillMatrix, Custom House, DealerRater, FirstCall HealthCare, Passport Health Communications, SterilMed, Surebridge, triVIN, and Vivax.
Prior to joining Great Hill in 2000, Mark worked at Boston Consulting Group, where he focused primarily on developing and implementing new strategies for communications and enterprise software clients. Prior to working at Boston Consulting Group, he worked for the Westlake Capital Group, where he evaluated investment opportunities and worked with portfolio companies in a variety of industries. Prior to Westlake, he spent three years working in small growth businesses, assuming various roles in operations, marketing and business development.
Mark graduated from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he was an F.C. Austin Scholar and a Jim Packard Memorial Scholar. He also holds a degree in public policy studies from Duke University.
