The most rewarding part of my role is forming trusted relationships with founders and executives, working alongside them as a hands-on partner through both the inflection points and the day-to-day realities of scaling a business.
Q&A
If you weren’t an investor, what path would you have pursued?
Investigative journalism always intrigued me. I am drawn to the idea of sitting with complex stories, asking the right questions, and slowly developing a clearer understanding of what sits beneath the surface. I have great respect for the patience and humility the work requires, and for those who are willing to follow a line of inquiry simply out of curiosity and a desire to understand something more deeply.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Never underestimate the power of compounding. Though often associated with finance, it applies far more broadly. Incremental progress, sustained with patience and discipline, can quietly lead to extraordinary outcomes over time.
What is your favorite part of your job?
What I value most about my role is the opportunity to work with exceptional people. Internally, I’m constantly learning from my colleagues at Great Hill, whose perspectives sharpen my own. Externally, I’m inspired by the founders and executives we meet, each with a distinct story of how their business came to be. Understanding those journeys and supporting what comes next is the most rewarding part of the job.
